It is the strongest surface protection on the market that doesn’t change the look of the exterior. The same can’t be said for cathodic protection. Cathodic protection coats the surface by making it the cathode of an electrochemical cell but we coat the surface with microns. This strengthens the surface, modifying the properties of the surface without significantly changing the look of the exterior. While cathodic protection is great, it can only be applied to metal surfaces while Nanokote has multiple use cases – including glass, steel, concrete, you name it!

Unlike, galvanic corrosion protection where the process relies on corroding one metal in favour of another, Nanokote offers the ultimate solution to protection and corrosion prevention. While galvanic corrosion protection is an electrochemical process, nano coating enables surfaces with both hydrophobic and oleophobic (water and oil hating) characteristics. This in turn results in a run-off effect with water and oil, preventing any further damage to your surface.
4) Nanokote prevents rust.
Electronic rust protection and other anti-rust solutions claim to make your surface rust proof, and while inherently true, none quite as effective as nano coating. Rust occurs when iron and oxygen have opposite charges so they seek each other out to combine. When they combine, the iron loses electrons to oxygen atoms. This is called oxidation. This chemical reaction is when rust forms. You could use electronic rust protection which interferes with the electrical charge between iron and oxygen or you could use Nanokote to make your surface rust proof. We coat your surface with a protective barrier which creates a “run-off effect” where water simply rolls off. This ultimately prevents any rust from developing, making your surface inherently rust proof.
