Charles Street Busway Bridge Project – Anti Graffiti Painting

Published: November 23, 2017 at 1:18pm

Nanokote WA secured the anti graffiti painting package for the new Charles Street Busway bridge project with York Civil early 2017. The project consisted of 4200m2 total including new bridge parapets, piers, abutments, concrete traffic barriers, noise walls and concrete retaining walls. The outside bridge parapets were all done on night shift whilst the Graham Farmer Fwy tunnel was closed for maintenance. Nanokote we able to paint each segment of the new bridge on 3 seperate closures so there was no need for extra traffic management and closures due to ProGuard one-coat system (no primer). We also were quickly called upon to paint 1000m2 of concrete traffic barriers just 3 days prior to the bridge opening to buses in early June 2017. Nanokote WA successfully completed this project to a very high standard, on time and on budget. York Civil were extremely pleased with our efforts and the final result.
